What's up in PAT?
In 3rd grade we have been discovering how we are smart by studying Howard Gardner"s Theory of Multiple Intelligences.Check out some of our new identities of how we are smart.
This fall the students used the SCAMPER process to design new playground equipment ideas for playground improvements for Silver Lake future students. Check out our Glogs.
(As you may notice - not all of the glogs are complete. Your child may go to http://edu.glogster.com anytime to finish his or her glog and it will automatically update to this presentation.)
The students have just completed Spy School for 2013. Stay tuned for more information coming soon!
Our big research project for this grade level is discovering America's National Parks. The students will work in teams of 3 to discover the beauty of a national park. They will plan a road trip to the park and estimate costs for travel, lodging, food, and fun times! They will plan their trip based on the research they have done through the eyes of a Park Ranger, Conservationist and fun seeking tourist. Stay tuned for more information!
